7th Annual Pufferbelly 5k Family Race and Fun Run
Join us August 13th, 2016, for the 7th Annual Pufferbelly 5K Family Run/Walk and 1 Mile Kids' Fun Run. A portion of our race will be run on the Salomon Farm Trail and the newly constructed section of the Pufferbelly Trail from the Parkview YMCA to Wallen Road. This year's race is a Fort Wayne Running Club point series race. The proceeds from this event will be used to further our work building trails, including converting the former New York Railroad into a paved recreational path.
When completed, it will link downtown Fort Wayne north to Pokagon State Park in Angola and south to Ouabache State Park in Bluffton. It will be the spine of a regional trails system that will provide endless health and recreational opportunities for residents and visitors to the Fort Wayne area.
