FWRC 2020 Banquet With Guest Speaker Dick Beardsley

Join us at the 2020 FWRC Annual Banquet! Everyone is welcome!
Once again, we have booked the Parkview Mirro Center for the banquet to take place on Sunday January 26, 2020.
The banquet will feature speaker, Dick Beardsley, a native of Minnesota who is known nationally and internationally for his running accomplishments, autobiographical book Staying The Course, and inspirational messages.
Throughout his years, the achievements have been remarkable. He is a two time winner of the Grandmas Marathon in Duluth, MN and co- winner of the London Marathon in 1981. In 1982, he was second to Alberto Salazar at the Boston Marathon.
His presentation will address his life as a very successful runner, husband, fisherman, and prescription drug addiction survivor.

Schedule:
2:30- 4:00pm: Runners social, display tables, speaker meet/greet with "Staying The Course" book sales and posters
4:00 pm: Banquet welcome, invocation, annual meeting, announcements and dinner
5:00 pm: Annual FWRC Awards (2019 Points Awards, Ironrunner Awards, Don Lindleys Volunteer of the Year Award, Barbie Scrogham Spirit of Running Award, Golden Shoe Award Extra Mile Award, Joe Zieglers Breaking Barriers Award, Presidents Award and Chris Brown Outstanding High School Distance Runners)
6:00 pm: Dick Beardsley's Staying The Course presentation, questions/answers, and closing remarks

The cost to attend the banquet for members is $20 on or before November 1st, $25 November 1st December 31st, after January 1 the cost is $30. For non members the cost is $30. For of a table of 8 people the cost is $20 per person regardless of membership.
