Healthier Moms and Babies Diaper Dash 5K Run/Walk

Healthier Moms and Babies is hosting a Diaper Dash 5K Run/Walk to raise awareness of our mission and to help collect much needed diapers for the babies of the women we serve. The Diaper Dash will be fun for the entire family! We are also encouraging Runners and Walkers to dress up in a diaper, baby costume or other fun baby related costumes. You can even dress up in a nostaligic costume that reminds you of your childhood. The race will be timed, we'll have gender specific commerative Tech Shirts and Food Trucks available.

Cost

Registration is $25 for early registration and $35 for late registration (after September 15th)

Kids registration is $15 for early registration and $25 for late registration (after September 15th). Kids will also receive a commerative cotton t-shirt.

Registration is Non-Refundable

Dressing up is not requirement but a fun twist. We will be taking pictures in the pavillion for you to share with your friends! You can still run even if you do not want to dress up!

Proceeds from the race will go to supporting Healthier Moms and Babies mission of preventing prematurity and improving birth outcomes in Allen County. We do this by providing prenatal health education through in home case management and group support sessions to our community's most at risk pregnant women. We are also asking for a donation of diapers or wipes with the registration fee. You can purchase diapers through our Target Healthier Moms and Babies Registry and they will be shipped to our office or you can bring them day of. A donation of diapers is not a requirement to participate but greatly appreciated. To Donate Diapers

Awards will be given to the top three overall males and females, top masters male and female and individual group age winners. For the those who really want to have fun, there will be an award for the best single and group costumes.

Packet Pick Up

Friday, October 14th from 5:00-8:00 pm at Fleetfeet Sports, 5661 Covernty Lane, Ft. Wayne, IN 46804. Fleetfeet Sports is located in the Village of Coventry behind Starbucks.

We can register at packet pick up but a shirt is not guarnteed.

Day of the Race

7:30-8:10 am: Check-in and late registration (shirt not guaranteed for late registration)

8:30 am: Run will begin

Walk will start immediately following

9:30: Awards
