The second annual Mastodon Run 4 Scholarships is a 4-mile run/1 mile family walk event to raise funds for our 14 NCAA Division I teams.
Our goal for Mastodon Run 4 Scholarships is to kick up some dust and raise funds to help ensure the future success of our student-athletes.
We want to continue to recruit and retain the best students capable of competing at the highest level of NCAA athletics right here in Fort Wayne.
Athletic programs at IPFW have excelled, with a total of 23 NCAA tournament berths, six men’s volleyball NCAA Final Four appearances, and eight Summit
League Championships since 2007. Most impressive, however, is the academic
performance of our student-athletes: they’ve achieved a combined overall GPA exceeding 3.0 for 13 straight years.
