Thru thick and thin, the Parlor City Trot continues. We are planning for the Trot's 47th year and we hope that you are, too.

The 47th Parlor City Trot is set for 7:30 a.m. Saturday, September 4th, 2021, in Bluffton, IN. Along with the 13.1-mile Half-Marathon, the Trot event will include a 10-kilometer run. The race is also part of the Fort Wayne Running Clubs (FWRC) point series (2021 selection and approval pending).

If you want hype, inflatable arches, bands, noise, a medal and a large goodie bag, this is not the race for you.

But if you want Hoosier Hospitality and a simple, well-organized flat, fast and scenic race, please come and enjoy a Bluffton tradition on the streets and pathways of Bluffton, IN and Ouabache State Park. The course itself is the main attraction.

Packet Pickup is on race-morning beginning at 6:15am at the Bluffton City Gym (128 E Market Street, Bluffton, IN 46714). The starting line for the the races will be on Main Street at the intersection with Walnut Street near the Wells County Courthouse. The finish is on River Road at Pickett's Run Park.

There will be Overall, Masters and Age Group awards for both race distances.

FWRC Members are eligible for a $2 discount. The member discount is applied automatically if you have a configured runsignup.com member account. (again, pending 20201 selection and approval).

Shirts are assured for those who register by August 24, 2021. Based on the number of early registrants, an estimated, additional quantity of shirts will be ordered for those who register after 8/24/2021. But quantities will be limited and may run out. Shirts from prior years may be offered as an alternative (although quantities of those are getting low.)

There is a 3-hour time limit for the Half-Marathon so we can give volunteers and the City of Bluffton some certainly about time commitments and the start and ending of street closures. An early start at 6:30am is available for runners who may not make the 3-hour time limit. Early starters are eligible for age-group awards, but not overall awards. Please send a message to the race organizers thru the registration system if you are interested.
