IronRunner Challenge
The IronRunner Award is earned by members in good standing (i.e., annual club dues are paid before the start of the first Points Series event) who volunteer for at least one designated event and finish a minimum number of events.
  • Finishing any 10 Point Series events reaches Bronze level
  • Finishing any 14 Point Series events earns Silver level.
  • Completing all Point Series events merits Gold level status.
If an event offers multiple distances (such as a 5k and a 10k), participants must complete the longer distance to earn points and to count towards meeting IronRunner qualifications.

In order to qualify as Bronze, Silver or Gold IronRunner at least one volunteer commitment must be fulfilled. This includes the following:

·         Before, during or after the 6 Fort Wayne Running Club Races or other races designated by the club

·        Representing the Club at a local event outlined below and/or officially pacing at Fort 4 Fitness.

·         Adopt a Trail FWRC greenway cleanup

Specific opportunities for 2018 are listed below. Your commitment to volunteer must be established prior to the event. Simply showing up for an event the day of does not fulfill your volunteer requirement, as all volunteer roles could be fulfilled.

Please do not wait until the end of the year to fulfill your requirements.
